Child Custody

There are two kinds of custody in Minnesota. There is physical custody and legal custody.

Legal Custody is defined as: having the legal right to make certain decisions about the upbringing of child, this includes schooling, health decisions and religious decisions. With joint legal custody, both parties have a say in the matter of the legal decisions.
